Unable to Drag Fill Handle (Cell Corner) to Automatically Increment Values
It’s a favorite feature of every Excel user. Simply selecting a series of cells with incremental values and drag the Fill Handle (Cell Corner) down to complete the rest of the series. This is the most common usage scenario when people try to complete the serial number column.
I was unable to Drag the Fill Handle (Cell Corner) to automatically increment the series.
This feature is turned on by default but for some reason was disappeared from my Excel.
Let me share it for the benefit of my readers how to enable this feature in Excel 2007 or Excel 2010.

In Excel 2007 Or Excel 2010
- Click on File on top left corner
- Click Options again on the left hand side (above the Exit Excel) button or on the left side of Exit Excel button.
- It will show the Excel Options dialog box and now select the Advanced section on left.
- The relevant settings are highlighted in the image below:
